Description:

Watercolor can be an intimidating medium. I will help you understand it in a way that will make it’s unpredictable nature less scary.

I will cover some tricks and techniques that will help you keep your paintings as in-control as you like. We will discuss techniques including wet on wet, wet on dry, dry brush, splatting, scraping, salt application, and masking. We will have a demonstration and do a couple of exercises to help get a working understanding of how to use them and then create a painting from a shared reference.

Materials (and coffee!) to be provided. Please feel free to bring any additional supplies or references that will help you.
