Frequently asked questions

• What is your turn around time? My turnaround time varies, but I typically book about 2–3 weeks in advance.

• What should I provide for reference? Clear photos of your scene or building from different angles, and preferable, at different times of day with different light.

• What is your process? I begin with a rough pencil sketch of your building or scene, based on your reference material. This is used to agree on the composition. There may also be a color palette established at this stage. The next step is to create a small color composition that approximates the final piece. One that is agreed on, I will complete the final.

• How do I receive the painting? Once your commission is completed, I’ll ship the original physical artwork to the address you provide via FedEx. (Please note that order outside of the US may have an additional shipping fee.) You will receive the tracking number via email or text. (If you are within 30 minutes of Richmond, VA, I can deliver the final piece to you.)

• Can you include people and pets? I can incorporate pets into the peice for an additional fee, depending on the level of detail required.

• How does payment work? A 50% deposit is required up front. Once that payment is received, I will begin. I accept payment via Square, and Venmo.
